Earlier this fall I was hired to photograph artists living in their 80's
and 90's. I traveled to LA, Memphis, Chicago, and Atlanta. I just got
the calendars for 2014. Pictured here is Perry Wolf with only 6 of his
15 Emmy Awards for being a documentary film/TV director and
screenwriter. It was so much fun to travel and spend time with these
"old" artists.

Pretty cool! Just saw this online:

SJSU Acceleration Ad Campaign
The ad campaign I shot for SJSU this summer is finally printed and on display. The portraits reflect the impact of $208,000,000 raised by SJSU supporters. Most people have to pay off their college loans as soon as they get out of school and Travis Lopez (pictured here) created a scholarship fund as a senior in his under grad schooling. Incredibly smart guy and runs a start up.

Zach Lewis pictured here builds urban gardens for communities and also harvests fruits and vegetables from people's home and donates the food to homeless shelters. The funding for Zach to run Garden to Table is funded by Silicon Valley businesses.

Got this email today from "Flashes of Hope." My wife and I volunteered a few years ago at UCLA Hospital to photograph kids with cancer and their family members together. Such an eye opening experience and some of the kids did end up passing away I later found out. If there are any photographers out there that want to volunteer their time, check out the http://www.flashesofhope.org/ website. It is incredibly rewarding and helps put your life into perspective.
Editing photos of veterans today...
Editing photos of veterans today for a client
(it is the best to combine passion with work). Here is a preview of a
WWII veteran... One thing I have really learned from photographing so
many elderly individuals is that people love seeing the contrast of age
from young to old. Off to the Adobe headquarters for a photo shoot.

I photographed Travis Johnson SJSU defensive back last fall and he just got recruited to the 49ers. Pretty exciting!
Here is a shot of me photographing Dick Vermeil.

Recent portrait I took of Mitch Hurwitz creator, writer, director, and producer of "Arrested Development"
Recent portrait I took of Mitch Hurwitz creator, writer, director, and producer of "Arrested Development" at his house in LA for "AwardsLine Magazine." Article is about the new relaunch of the show on Netflix. I only had 10 minutes to photograph him... "There's ALWAYS money in the banana stand!" I wish I could have photographed him in a banana outfit in an the banana stand. Oh well!
